Adjunct Faculty, Criminal Justice, AY 2018-2019
Job Description
Salem State University is seeking adjunct instructors with interest and experience teaching in areas of criminal justice (i.e. practice, policy, research, administration, elective courses). Teaching will depend upon the expertise of the candidate and needs of the programs.
Adjunct instructor will work collaboratively with the lead faculty in a school with future-directed leadership and a collective focus on academic excellence and success of our students.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Teaching experience
- Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and collegiality
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, supervision, and advising
- Direct experience in criminal justice practice, policy or research
Preferred Qualifications:
- Appropriate terminal degree
- College-level teaching experience, at both the undergraduate and/or graduate levels
- Experience teaching a diverse and multicultural population
